I went to coco tang today (20/12/25) and I had a wonderful time. Spent about £105 in a group of 4 people where we bought a drink, meal and desert per person. First time having pho and I enjoyed it very much, I tried the bbq lemon grass chicken and it was also a delight and the tofu spring rolls were also absolutely delicious. Where I was first let down was the drinks, which were great. However, I thought the ratio of ice to the actual drink itself was too high and I found myself with a cup full of ice within 3 sips (for the drinks such as the Apple mint cooler and thai milk tea) I was expecting more for the actual price itself (£6-7 per drink). Overpriced . I was so thirsty but didn’t want to spend more money to buy more drinks. I don’t know what I was expecting but the desserts were okay despite that I don’t really enjoy desserts that much. My favourite was the matcha brownie and ice cream. The Japanese deco roll cake was a bit too eggy and fruity for me and the halo hala (£11-12 and OVERPRICED) was too sweet and absolutely full of ice underneath to give it an appearance of more volume, and the ice cream on top melted within minutes and the crunchy stuff they put on top which resembled cereal was a bit off putting and gave it a weird texture but the dessert itself was okay for the first 5 minutes then I just abandoned it since it got messy fast. In summary, it was a new experience and I had fun. I might come again to try more stuff. Come here if your wallet is stacked with money because you’re gonna need it since they charge you 10% service fee which is optional according to them but they secretly add it to the receipt without your consent and don’t tell you about it verbally or ask you if you would like to have it, they add it regardless….

Coco Tang in Nottingham is a vibrant spot that delivers a memorable dining experience with every dish. The meal started with a refreshing green papaya salad with prawns, which provided a zesty, light, and invigorating start. For the main course, the Ultimate Pho Bo impressed with tender slow-cooked beef rib and oxtail, all simmered in a signature rich broth deeply infused with traditional aromatics—perfectly balanced and aromatic. Dessert was a standout: the pistachio & raspberry choux was an absolute heavenly treat, showcasing the skill and creativity of their baker, Erica. The house drinks selection is equally impressive—choosing a passion fruit cooler added a sweet and tangy twist to complement the meal. The restaurant itself is a buzzing, vibrant place with unique decor and plenty of atmosphere, while the staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Even the facilities stood out, with toilets that were very clean and well presented. Coco Tang deserves high praise for both its culinary quality and its warm, welcoming environment.

We drove to IKEA and googled this place on the way back , random find but it was brilliant and exactly what we wanted. Food was amazing service was fast and friendly. We had no booking but we're seated immediately and our full order was taken within the first 5 minutes. I would highly recommend the mango bay cocktail it was delicious and also the pan fried sea bass. My only criticism would be to have more of the sauce that it came with. Overall amazing place wish it was my local.

This place is full of great atmosphere, delicious fresh food beautifully presented on the plates. Everything was fresh and full of flarour. Great choice of food, the menu has variety of everything. Lovely desserts. Great choice of drinks and moctails. Drinks and moctails are delish! All reasonable prices, including the food. The staff were absolutely great, very attentive to order details, very friendly and helpful. Despite it was very busy they were very efficient and the food was served very promptly. The atmosphere of this place is just unbelievable. It's chilled with music in the background. What it's really worth seeing if the roof garden- if you're lucky with the weather and table available there, you will soak the atmosphere of this place even more!

Came here with work colleagues for a celebratory lunch and everything we ate was incredible and we can’t wait to go back. Staff were super friendly and the whole place is lovely. Would really recommend the new curry on the menu, the bbq lemongrass chicken and the ube cheesecake with ice cream which I think is limited edition. Superb, will definitely return!

Absolutely phenomenal establishment, i travelled to Vietnam in 2024 and the food was definitely on par with the delicious food I had there. The menu was creative yet not overwhelming, my friend and I shared the vegetarian platter and it was everything we could’ve hoped for. Delicious salt and pepper tofu and friend spring rolls and fresh salads. What a dream of a place

Finally managed to get a seat at Coco Tang! It’s been on my list for three years, but every time I’ve gone. The queue’s been ridiculously long. After waiting eagerly for over an hour, my friends and I finally got seated and ordered the pho. The taste wasn’t quite what I expected, and the price was on the higher side, but I’d still love to go back and try other dishes from the menu. The vibe was lush beautiful interiors and even the desserts on display while waiting in line were super tempting. Because it’s always so busy, the service was a bit slow. The pho didn’t quite hit the mark, but the restaurant itself was definitely impressive.

This was our 3rd visit to Coco Tang, and it was as ever fabulous. The decor, the staff, the ambience, asn also the food were spot on. We shared one of the platters, and the portion size, and taste delivered on all levels. Great authentic Vietnamese cuisine, that you must try if you haven't already.
